In case you were wondering whether the right has gone completely, ahem, batshit insane in re: this, here’s how the newest Republican talking point — that the new Batman flick is some sort of anti-Romney metaphor or something or other — was splashed across The Drudge Report, a.k.a. the conservatives’ playbook.

Maybe somewhere some Dem operative is starting a rumor that Magic Mike is a metaphor for the GOP because it features a bunch of dicks.

my days usually consist of reading anything batman related and reading the news/politics so it’s crazy that the two have come together in the past few days. not to mention, every single time i hear bain capital i think of bane anyway.
